John Dickinson, Intelligent Investor Academy, has been established to save hundreds if not thousands of UK retail investors from letting the cut throat market of investing take them and their money hostage.

Are you a victim of financial crime? Have you invested in a product that promised sky high returns in a short space of time never to see or hear of your money again? Are you in an invest currently that sounds like this? Are you finding it difficult to get hold of your so called 'broker'? The likelihood is you have fallen victim to yet another financial bogus investment.

Unfortunately it is so easy to become part of something like this, so please do not be hard on yourself. You are not alone and help is at hand.

Firstly, forget making contact with the broker, that's finished. Even if you do get hold of anyone you will only be filled with lies. Contact the police and report it to ActionFraud on 0300 123 2040. The second and most hardest thing to do is let go, psychologically you haven't given up on the promises of financial success. It was never true then and it certainly isn't now. It's over, you've lost your money. You must face up to that.

Once you have finished feeling sorry for yourself and dusted yourself off its time to take care again of your financial holdings and get that portfolio back on track. Don't think this has just happened to you, most who have invested their money have to some extent been victims of the speculator bug. Investing is about slow, steady returns. Enjoy market growth and diversify for market decline. SIMPLE. There is no magic formula to make £10,000 into £1,000,000 in 6 months. However, with the help of compound interest and a good, solid strategy you can realise, in the long term, a ever growing substantial amount of investment.
